Things you should regret

But you don't. Well, yeah. I just got talked to by two Christian women (at least I think so). I know I should have just closed the door again when they started talking, but... I simply couldn't. I don't like slamming the door into people's faces. Or insulting people by not listening. I've been raised to pay respect to older people (even though my father would have said it doesn't matter in this case). So... well, I listened to them.
They told me about the soul. Yes, very interesting.
BUT, unlike other Christians, they actually said that it's not a substance inside us or something of that sort, but that we, as a whole, are a soul. And that, when we die, there will be nothing left. And they actually cited the Bible on this.
I didn't give them the chance to pull me into it, of course. But they gave me a thin book titled "What does the Bible really teach us?"
And I thought "Great! Now I can look into how some other branches of religious people really think! And then I can go write such people!" (I also thought something along the lines "Yesh, a book I can read and then disprove it as a whole with one single sentence, namely: I don't believe in the Bible." I just... don't believe in somethings just because it's written down and ancient.)
Yes. That's how my brain is working.
They even offered help with understanding the Bible. *sigh*
Some day, I'm going to be robbed because I'm too nice. At least, I didn't let them into the house (which I never do when I'm alone).
But they didn't seem like bad people. And I'm not hostile towards such people.
